its almost 3pm on day 2 of hatch and 6 more A&M just hatched bringing the total to 45 and a hatch rate of 65%.

the hatch is complete. 48 chicks total. if you count all eggs shipped to me I had a hatch rate of 60%. That is including the eggs that were shipped small end up and 11 broken and cracked eggs. 4 died in shell fully developed and the rest were infertile.

Glad that your happy with your hatch. I'd hatch and raise more than I do, but I have too many trips planned throughout the summer and that creates problems, when you have animals. The adults that I keep (about 15), I can provide with enough food and water for a week while I'm gone, plus I have a neighbor check on them. But incubating and brooding is a different story.
