Is there any one out there that can help me in sexing my chukars?

The males are always bigger in size with their weight and sometimes you can tell by the knobs on the back of their legs they seem to be bigger too!

Check out the article from U. of California-Davis. It gives a very detailed description of male and female chukars. From what I can tell, the male chukar has a blockier head than the female. The knobs on the legs is not a sure fire way to tell chukars apart.

It seems that the male have a wider darker band on their eyes.
This and size is how I sex my birds and it seems to be fairly accurate.

males also have bigger blockier heads than females which have a kinda smaller smoothly curved head.
