I'm in Southwest Missouri and currently I am raising Coturnix, chickens, Muscovy Ducks, Rabbits, turkeys, and am attempting Bobwhites. The Bobs have proven to be very difficult. I started with three pairs that I purchased out of a flight pen last fall. The pairs laid a lot of eggs but I was unable to get many to hatch. Of those that did hatch, many just died, plop! I purchased 100 eggs and hatched 60 and hatched 20 of my own and I down to 25 new birds. I hope to see what others are doing to be successful and learn better management practices. The Coturnix I have had good success with as they seem to be quit easy.
