I just want to say they did a great job of packging my quail eggs. got 105 and not one was broken. thanks
-
I too bought bob eggs from Chris and went to pick up. Even though I picked them up he still packed them like he was shipping them in mail. Also gave me excellent advice and guidance.

I enjoyed the article you did in the last Game Bird Gazette. Nice pictures. I can see why you produce good quality birds. You seem to really know what you are doing.

To clarify my previous post, I was referring to the article by Chris of M & M gamebirds...

their starting to hatch got about 50 that have made the pecks so far so have some tens reds out by this time tomorrow.
-
Out of my 120 bobwhite eggs from Chris so far candled and thrown away about 8 eggs over the first 19 days of incubating. Starting last night and the rest of today had 79 hatch with more comming. I'd say these eggs are very fertile. Thank you Chris.
-
Glad to see you guys are having a successfull hatch. This has been another successfull year for us, and we love hearing the feedback.
Thanks again!

chris what a hatch so far out of 104 eggs 86 hatched. there was only one concern I had ordered tenns reds and I had 6 that hatched that were regular bobs or then that it's been a great hatch. thanks

I'm concerned about the 6 that you say are bobwhite chicks. I had one other person who stated they got 1 bobwhite out of 200 that hatched. The only thing I can think of is the person I got my red eggs from last year mixed them with bobs? There is no way my bob and red eggs can get mixed up, as they are in completely different areas, and I gather and mark the eggs seperatly. I apologize for the inconvenience, and if this is a problem for you, I will make it right. I'm also not going to be buying anymore eggs from that provider again. I'll have a new source of red eggs for next year....

no problem just curious why there was some. thanks again.

just wanted to clear something up for you on the Tennessee Reds - with any bobwhite color mutation may it be Tennessee Reds, white bobs or what not you will still have the gene that pops up and has the color of a regular bob. I didn't pay attention in school enough to know everything about the dominant and recessive genes but that is about right you said you had 6 hatch out normal seems like i normally have no more than 5% if that. Remember this though - those birds still carry the red gene so you could call it a split to red ( if you are a duck person (split to white ya know with mandarins and such )
Congratulations on your hatch !!

make it 88 total. not bad for shipped eggs.
