Hello all,  we have a 8X20ft pen for 23 two year old bobwhite quail that we have had for over a year.  We acquired 9 three month old bobwhite quail that we put in with them.  But the old quail are rejecting the new ones by pecking and chasing them around.  Should we give them more time to adapt or remove them immediately and put them elsewhere?

Remove them immediately!  Put them in a small pen within the larger pen for a couple of weeks, then release them in with others just after dark. I'm surprised that somebody isn't already dead.
