I just found out that the poultry starter mix that I have been given to Horton is really only 18% not the 28% that the feed store told me it was.  What do I do now?  I guess I can't get the 28-30% here in Bozeman. s80
Thanks for your help

Call your feed store, ask for Turkey starter. Doesn't matter if it is medicated.

That's really weird.  That's the second time today that I've heard "I got the wrong feed" story.

Just a word of advice from experience............always read the tag on any bag of feed.

Most feed suppliers use the exact same bags with various types of feed inside, the only way to tell the differnce is the tag.  Many animals have been killed because of mix ups on the feed.  Just this year my feed supplier sold my special order bag of high concentrate goat feed to an unsuspecting customer, it contains high concentrates of various ingredients that will kill a cow.

Good Luck!

The closest place that sells purina feeds is 20 miles from me. I went there today but they were closed. Gotta get there earlier tomorrow or Sat AM.

That's about it as jchiar stated. I don't now of anything else higher in protein then the bean meal.
