So i know the rule of thumb of 1 bird per sq. ft. My question is this i have a brand new pen i just built its 4x 12 x18". it is covered on half and hardware wired on the other, the floor is completely wired and sits about 12 inches off the ground can i keep 100 quail in this until 6 weeks old if they are debeaked and food and water troughs are mounted on the outside or is this a little to small i say this beacause i only keep birds until they are six weeks before i slaughter them and i have a batch of 100 getting ready to hatch and im short on space right now i know this has been in other threads but answers would be cool
