Listen to a couple of turkey and chicken hatchers today discussing what they thought were the better digital thermometers. There's several different types, and they have my  curiosity, wanting to know what type, some of you use. I use mercury thermo's . Wanting to know what the better one's are and the most accurate.

Now that sounds interesting !

Would this work as a heat sensor for the buildings during winter ? If a heater ever went down it would be nice to know before it dropped to -50c !

I'm having good luck with the 12$ ones from walmart temp and humidity reading.have a sensor that i put through the vent hole of the hovabator the unit has to set over the hole to, there r 3 slots on the bottom that read the humidity. it is a digital reading so far so good with them. also have a merc. on top of  the eggs and its very accurate j2
