I saw a few posts on not keeping chickens too close to gamebirds
Question-is it the same with ducks ?

Don't know.
But knowing how ducks and water can make a huge mess, I'd be inclined to not keep them together.
Pheasants and Quail are not wet land birds.

thanks reeves
thats what i thought but also why i put the mason sand in my aviary so it cant get too wet
i have automatic waterers so they can only get one spot wet
but they get let out to play in my pond
they are seperated from my quail though
