That was this morning before it got cold, it hit -24*c, with a wind chill of -41*c. For our southern friends, that's where C* and F* become equal!

When it gets this cold we put the water dishes inside the bird houses and leave them locked up all day (and night). Warm in their houses though !

Diesel will be left running today.....

......that's where C* and F* become equal!

I've got a couple boys that have tried to convince me of that same thing, when I was looking their report cards from school over!!   I assured them that an "F"  does not equal a "C" !!    ^-^

Good morning all, 31f here this morning, light snow.  Only about a inch during the night, should melt off by this afternoon.  Amazing, has snowed more this week than in the last 5 years.  Not sure if I like it very much.

My daughter has my camera right now, so no pictures from here.

s6    My daughter just  told me last night that they are expecting again.  I am so excited.  We have one grandson, and looking forward to a girl this time.   j1

Thanks, our grandson is a joy, so can't wait for the next one.  Should be a fall baby.  Hopefully near my b-day.

Here is a picture of my grandson Chase, he loved the snow last week and really likes to eat it.

It fell to -32*c with a wind chill = -46*c, that's about -26/7* f, as far as the -46*c I couldn't tell ya the thermometer bottoms out at -40*c/-40*f.
I do know that my new Silverado Classic Diesel went into wimp (limp) mode, frozen sensors, I had to drive it 1.25hrs @ 25mph at 2000 rpm to get it to the dealer.  s53 s53 s53 Tomorrow is supposed to be colder, school buses are all shut down, kids are home. s176

Yesterdays high hit 60*@ 2pm, calm winds and blue skies, around 4pm clouds rolled in and the sun was gone and the temps started to decline, along with the barometric pressure.

Over night lows hit 49* this morning and light rain started around 2am and is still a light rain.

Rain all day with a high of 55* more mud  s80  .

72/32 ......I take that as f temps ?

Been in the -50s c temps up here, with the wind chill.....no big deal, just have to change out of the T-shirts to a long sleeve shirt

However, with the diesel trucks ( any make) they do not really want to start after being plugged in all day/night.

Weather up here is brisk now  s020

Next week it may even get cold !

 s020

Steve...the weather link didn't work....e-mail got kicked back. I'll try to remember to PM a link to you.....or anyone wanting a link to the Canadian weather.
